Linx Institute appoints James Bell as CEO

Linx Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of our new CEO, James Bell. With rapid change in the education sector, James will drive an emphasis on providing quality education and training with strong sustainable links to employers and the community.

With over 18 years experience in the education industry working across the breadth of the education sector, James has experience including public universities and registered training organisations. His recent focus has been consulting and helping build startups in the education and digital sectors in Australia and Asia-Pacific region. At UNE, he led the team that established the FutureCampus digital innovation centre in Parramatta and was CEO of uneOpen, a company designed to launch Asia Pacific’s first MOOC (massive open online course) for credit.

Of his appointment, James Bell said “With the education sector under enormous pressure to keep up with rapid changes, including digital innovation, I believe this is a great opportunity to establish Linx Institute as the provider of choice for Greater Western Sydney for childhood education, aged care, disability and leadership”.
